- 2. Prayer - Nehemiah 1:7-11
Preparation: What is meant by God's "covenant of love"? Nehemiah prays "I confess the sins we Israelites......have committed against you". What sins might we confess for/on behalf of our church fellowship, our community or our town?
Questions
- What elements of Nehemiah's prayer strikes you the most? Is there a pattern to Nehemiah's prayer?
- How often do you pour out your heart to God? How often do you give God a specific request to answer? Share your experiences with the group.
- Should the church ask for God's help when it is not prepared to carry it out/take action? Say a few words to support your answer.
