Daylight is a counselling and support service. It offers a specialist service giving unconditional care and acceptance to those in need. Our aim is to provide time and space to people. We help them explore all the options available to them. We aim to provide complete, appropriate information and sensitive support. We specially care for those in the Leigh area and the community around. We have a distinctly Christian approach based on sensitivity to people's needs and acceptance of them as people.

Unintentionally pregnant?

If you are worried or unsure about an unplanned or difficult pregnancy, you may be feeling confused or under pressure. You may need someone to talk to in confidence.
Daylight is able to offer you some time and space to think through your options.  It provides complete, appropriate, unbiased information and sensitive support. This means clients can explore their response to their situation and make an informed choice for themselves about the future. As a first step we offer free pregnancy tests with immediate results followed by full support.  

Bereavement support

The death of a loved one can have a devastating effect with overwhelming sadness and sense of loss making it virtually impossible for the bereaved person to cope with daily life. Daylight bereavement support volunteers and counsellors offer a sympathetic ear and confidential support to help the bereaved person come to terms with their loss.

Post Abortion Counselling
Following an abortion, even if it was a long time ago, our counsellors can help you deal with the confusion, regrets or worries that you may be left with.
