All counselling is conducted by appointment and is governed by Daylight's policies and procedures (copies of which can be obtained by contacting the Daylight office or by phoning the general enquiries number 01942 418123).
The Daylight helpline and counselling service officially opened on 12 October 2005. It arose from a number of churches realising that there was a great need within the town for caring support. It continues today with the same aims and objectives.
The churches involved are very different from each other, but have a common understanding.
