Morning Services Every Week

There are two ways of talking about 'Morning Services'. The first is every service that happens in the morning! In this case we have services at both 8am and 10-30am each week of the year. In this sense we have services throughout the year.

Morning Service - or Morning Prayer

Morning Prayer or Morning Service is the term used for a service which is not either a Holy Communion service, or a children's or All Age service. We have a service like this roughly once a month. The service is on the first Sunday of each month at 10-30am and on the fifth Sunday in the month at 10-30am.

Morning Service with Baptism

It is at the Morning Service that most of our Baptism services take place. We do not have a Baptism every single month, but they do happen they are almost always at this service. (See elsewhere for our Baptism Services etc).

Morning Service centred around the Word of God

The Morning Services are centred around worship and the Bible as well as worship and confession, we spend time reading and considering God's Word, the Bible. There is a creche and Sunday Groups at this service and so the sermon is for adults.

And how long will it take?

This is a question most people ask about church services, and in our case, the answer is always the same, 'we don't know!' It will depend upon the worship, the length of time the prescher speaks, whether there is a Baptism and so on, but we try to be finished for 12 noon if at all possible.

Can anyone come?

This is an ideal service for adults to come to and for famililes who are used to allowing their children into Sunday School, or creche. We are sure that everyone will be welcomed, and please talk to one of the people at the back of church if you are new.
