 We pray God speaks to all the family
All Age Worship happens on the first Sunday in the month at 10-30am at Christ Church. There is still a creche for the youngest children, but the service which we aim to last for no more than 1 hour to 1hour 10 minutes is designed for everyone of school age upwards.
It is run by a team of people who try to use a number of different approaches to get the message of Jesus' love across. There may be discussions groups, a DVD film clip, a visual aid talk, children's songs as well as games and some simple prayers and responses.
It is particularly suitable for families with children and is an excellent first step to church for those who are not used to church services. It often coincides with special Sundays, such as Harvest, or Christmas Nativity, or Mothering Sunday. The main aim is to engae both children and adults in the theme for the day and although this is not an easy task it is one that the tream relish; almost always making the service enjoyable, challenging and child friendly.
