Football
Good NEWS!!!
Football has started up again. We are training in the park on Saturday mornings from 11:30 - 12:30.
If you are under 16 Come along, ALL WELCOME.
Last season we entered two under 12 teams, two under fourteen teams and four under sixteen teams. I would like to thank Rob Foster, Pennington Rangers under 12's manager who came runners up in the league and also cup runners up. Mike Haines Pennington Thistle under 12's manager who came 4th in the league. Paul Jackson Pennington Tigers under 14's manager who came 5th in the league. Karl Parkinson Pennington Tigers under 14's manager who came 4th in the league and cup runners up. David Ward Pennington All Stars under 16's manager who won the under 16's cup and came 4th in the league. Andrew Bromley Pennington Legends under 16's came 6th in the league. Dean Thompson Pennington Warriors under 16's manager won the league. Naomi Thompson Pennington Athletic under 16's manager came runners up in the league, for all their commitment and hard work. A big thank you to Anna for all her help, Mark for serving the squash and Jaffa cakes every week and the parents for their support and help and of course to the children for their commitment and doing us proud.
A special thank you to all my cell group for organising the grant to pay for the teams to enter the Ambassadors In Sport competition, the tea and coffee served free on match nights and prayer and support.
