Little Jems
Little Jems is a Tuesday night club for kids in school years 1 to 3. We meet
from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in Church House (that's the large community building opposite the
church in the church grounds on Schofield Street) and cost of subs is 50p per week.
Little Jems is run by Christian adult leaders, but you don't have to be a Christian or
involved in any church to enjoy coming along. Many children come because of
our links with the local school. You can be part of Little Jems no matter what you
believe; our teaching is clearly from the Bible but the children and their
questions or opinions are always treated with respect and care. Parents are
welcome to stay for the sessions. Little Jems is supported by Christ Church Pennington and
CCP Primary School, and all the leaders have CRB clearance to work safely with
children.
We start off the evening by having a game where we can run around to burn off some energy, then we have a craft time followed by drinks and a biscuit. We then have a story and finish again with a fun game.
Parents or guardians need to fill in a simple form to
allow their children to be part of Little Jems. These are available from any of
the leaders on a Tuesday night. Hope to see you there!
