This is where to find us.

Pennington Church is just off St Helens road in Pennington, Leigh. If you travel from the Spinning Gate shopping centre in the centre of Leigh you need to go across the canal (over the bridge), carry on past Etherstone Street on your right and the church is 100 yards further on. Turn right into Schofield Street and the entrance to the church grounds is about 50 yards on the right down there.

If you are coming from Lowton or the A580 then come onto St Helens road from the large crossroads/traffic lights, conntinue through Pennington past Pennington Park (and the speed camera!) and when you have just past some shops on your left and Derwent Street you will find Schofield Street as the next left after the sandwich shop.

Telephone
The telephone number (01942 609987) is for 'Church House'. This is the church office which is opposite the church, and within the church grounds. It is manned most days, during the day, but you may get an answerphone. Please try to be as clear and specific as possible, leaving your name, telephone number, and any message as well.

Want the vicarage?
The vicarage is within the church grounds. Enter the church grounds off Schofield Street and the vicarage is the first building on your left handside. It is a 1960s detached house.

Want Church House?
Church House is our church hall and meeting rooms. It is used for most of our non-service meetings during the week and again it is within the church grounds. Enter the church grounds off Schofield street and Church House is the second building on the left. It is a large nineteenth century building which used to be the old vicarage.

Want the Sports Village Church?
If you want to find out how to get to the Sports Village Church, our daughter church, they meet on the Sports Village, in the Leigh Harriers building, on the first floor. The best thing is to look at their web site.
