Welcome to Pennington Church! We are a lively anglican evangelical
church in Leigh, Lancashire. We hope through this site and through
meeting the people who make up this church, that you will find a new or
a deeper faith and relationship with Jesus. You're welcome to just view
this site, get in contact with someone, or come along to any of our

Every Friday morning at 10am - 11.30am in the main church building you will find a very friendly, welcoming and open group of mums, nans, carers, and the occassional dad chatting together, drinking coffee (or tea or something cold) in the warm and carpetted environment of God's house. Around them will be their various children playing, doing crafts, eating a snack or two and having a great time.
During this time we stop to spend a little time with God in the guise of a fun bible story, a prayer activity, and a song or two - all especially designed to enable pre school children to have fun, learn something about God's love for them, and feel comfortable and loved inside the church building.
There is no cost for this service. Just come along and join in.
